Finding a new home
I do miss writing but curiously when I made a concerted effort to write every day, working towards a story goal, rather than writing on a whim on the blog, it felt lonelier. One of the wonderful things about writing on the blog and something that, for me, also serves to motivate and create the impetus to write, is the feedback of comments and chat on social media. I guess the knack is to write offline, hit my word-count and then share just enough to keep you all coming back for more.
Another reason for the hiatus has been the closing of my old publisher, though I’m delighted to say that I’ve found a home with a new publisher and Normal will be re-released soon along with my contributions to an anthology of micro fiction. I’m looking to the future, I’m dusting off my works in progress and exercising my writing muscles, I invite you along for the ride.
